Who We Are

We both grew up on dairy farms in Addison County. Our first experiences with making maple syrup began as kids on those farms. Fast forward many years and two children later we purchased our first sugarbush on Hillsboro Mountain in Starksboro Vt.  Our son had recently graduated high school and had spent some time working with Dave Folino. That relationship grew and Dave was a mentor to us as we expanded. When the Folinos decided they were ready to retire in 2023 we were honored to be able to work with them to purchase their operation and continue the Hillsboro Sugarworks name.

We've have been producing maple syrup from the trees on Hillsboro Mountain in Starksboro Vt since 2008. What began as a small family operation has grown to over 900 acres today. 

Our syrup is certified organic and single source. Every drop was produced from our trees on Hillsboro Mountain.
